The Stockhom Card

The Stockholm Card (Stockholmskort) gives you free travel over Stockholm bus lines, subways, and suburban rail systems. Additionally, you will receive free entrance to 75 museums and attractions, free sightseeing on selected boat tours, free street parking at city metered stalls, discounts for various attractions, and a guidebook to help you put it all together! The card can be purchased for 24, 48 or 72 hour durations and costs 260, 390, or 540 SEK for adults (100, 140, or 190 SEK for children age 7 to 17). The cards can be purchased online at www.stockholmtown.com/stockholmcard and at many tourist bureaus, hotel, hostels and terminals throughout Sweden.

The relatively high cost of local travel and museum entrance make this card a terrific value. The card does not apply to fares on private airport transit vehicles, but can be used on public transportation to reach Arlanda via the train to Märsta, followed by the 803 bus.
